Dawn
Moon
sneezes
water ripples
tides pull themselves to shore
With each new dawn
stars ferment
night tears turn to wine
Morning sky
sapphire honey
drips from solar comb
Body sparks
mind ignites
awake from eternal spells

Heaven Declares God's
Righteousness
As darkness falls, night unfolds
ebony wings
to wrap the world in dark embrace.
Full moon pokes a hole in blind sky's chest.
If you listen closely you can hear stars escape
as their twinkles tumble down Orion's Belt.
Meteors sign their names with excitement.
Sun snores in a cave of hidden treasures
where dreams striptease in sparkling display.
Aurora borealis dances the seven veils.
Far to the North in the Milky Way, Arcturus guards
bear and her cubs as they wander constellations.
God whispers new parts of the universe into birth.

In Circles
In a place where shades dance
together
memories drift across thick velvet in empty boats.
A milky drawing of clouds stir in this cup of night.
Voices of childhood echo from an internal diary...
Seam of old and seam of new where purple's reborn
imagination thrusts fingers in as if to close a wound.
Fireflies swallowed in sweaty star filled hands.
Giggles sprinkle across like hungry water...
Behind vivid things years have weaned us from
a gash of wide open smiles spreads to our grave.
Upon mud squished between little piggies
Footprints reluctantly walk in circles...
